After two straight All-American seasons at defensive back, Galusha will take his skills to the offensive side of the ball as a receiver. He is also one of the most dangerous kick returners in the nation. Was named the preseason ASC Special Teams Player of the Year. 2005: Was second on the team with 61 tackles, including two for loss. Intercepted two passes and broke up six. Forced three fumbles. Had 11 tackles in the win over UW-Stevens Point. Was in the top 10 nationally in kickoff and punt returns and took one of each back for a touchdown. Named first-team All-American by D3football. com and first-team All-ASC. 2004: Earned All-American honors by D3Football. com, Don Hansen's Weekly Gazette and the Associated Press. Was a first-team All-American Southwest Conference selection. Broke his leg in the McMurry game on October 30th. Had at least one interception in the last six games he played on the year and recorded eight for the season. Had two interceptions one he returned for a touchdown and recorded a career-best 12 tackles and forced two fumbles and returned a kickoff 75 yards to set up a score in the 49-22 win at Mary Hardin-Baylor. 2003: Returned punts as a true freshman at Rice University. High School: After moving to quarterback for the first time due to an injured starter and was named all-district, all-Big Country, all-region, and all-state as a quarterback at Abilene Cooper High School for Randy Quisenberry as a senior. Was first-team all-district as a receiver as a junior and second-team all-district as a cornerback. Personal: Son of Linda Galusha. Has a brother, Rob, who plays for the Cowboys. Born Jan. 11, 1985.
